This is the espresso I drank this morning. It began as green coffee beans from three different parts of the world. I blended them together, and then I roasted them. I let them degas, and then I ground them. I packed them into my portafilter, and then I pulled this double ristretto.

This is something good and decent you have done. Beautiful. I weep. I weep. I want a shot, and I weep.
Here’s the real question: Did you reach supernatural coffee snobbery by roasting and pulling the shot or by publishing this photo online?

It’s funny that you guys think posting this photo makes me more of a coffee snob. To me, it was just the natural thing to do.

And thus, you get the snob of the day award. That should mean something! I mean I’m a snob, but I’ve not posted any photos of my brews. Did I mention I want a shot?

Boy was this more information than I was looking for. I started out this search looking for Dave’s reference sheet about “roasting”, but I may have just changed my mind. Anyone want to buy a new Westbend roaster? HA!
